Pos-Yoga: Thoughts after class

Are we just versions of the same people?

Are we even that different?

Why does our societal education and value system teach us to distance ourselves and see every human so individualistically?

Shouldn't we all highlight our connections instead of our distinctions?

What about valuing and acknowledging the (good and bad) chemistry we have amongst each other?

These are just thoughts after a relaxing and deep yoga class...I recommend it to everyone:)

The best rides are those heading to a concert

Just came back from a sweet concert at Great Scott's- will post pictures and possibly music asa[.

Hanging Women

The more we take pictures the less we know what's 'good'. 


With digital photography we can take 200 pictures at once, but rarely do we ever think about the picture we were taking. Before, with analogical cameras you couldn't waste a shot. I'm not saying that the digital evolution is bad, but now I feel it's harder to chose what is 'good'. The worst is that from all the pictures, many times we chose the 'wrong' ones to work on because of a lost sense of quality. 


What we consider "good" and "bad" photography is relative to our culture, our studies, and our perception. But I can't stand saying that everything is relative. Throughout time and through the works of knowledgeable people there is now a consensus of artistic value. Maybe not even a consensus but a conversation.

What I love about these pictures is the anonymity of these women. They hang individually in different places but are united by hopelessness and gender.
